Babington Educational Organisation (Babington) is committed to securing your privacy and security of your data. This page sets out statement which is in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance Cap. 486 (“Ordinance”) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of The People’s Republic of China.

Purpose

The purpose of this statement is to inform you about our policies and practices with respect to the collection, use, retention, disclosure, transfer, security and access of personal data.

Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy policy.

What we collect

We may collect the following information:

  • Name 

  • Contact information including email address

  • Demographic information such as country of residence, preferences and interests

  • Other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers

  • Your child’s current and previous academic background such as school or interest classes

  • Your child’s date of birth

What we do with the information we gather

We require the information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • For internal record keeping.

  • To improve our products and services.

  • To send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.

In order to maintain the security and integrity of your information and data, we employ a set of suitable procedures to safeguard your information we collect whether online or in person.

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Ordinance. A small fee will be payable. If you would like a copy of the information held on you please email us at info@babington.edu.hk
